Charity Performances |
|
If you are a charity, or are raising funds for a charity, Havering Music Makers would like to hear from you. We have given performances of many of our concerts for charities such as:
The Friends of St. Francis
Hospice Y-Care CLIC The Hospice Care Trust Some of these have been presented locally (Essex) while others have been as far afield as Devon (Combe Martin, twice), Cornwall (Falmouth, twice) and Wales (Swansea). |
A full cast of actors, singers and dancers. |
An audience. |
Nothing |
Whatever you can raise from selling tickets, programmes, refreshments, raffle tickets etc. - less any costs. (As a charity you may be able to get a hall provided free or at reduced cost and local companies may assist with other costs.) |

|
The success of these trips - and the amount you can raise for your cause - is limited only by your ability to sell tickets. (If you are a Residential Home, Hospice or similar organisation it may be practical for us to perform "in-house" for you.) A local performance can sometimes be arranged within a matter of weeks, but for more distant venues, we need to plan a year or so ahead. We arrange a short holiday in the area - which our members pay for - and they need to plan ahead. For this reason, we generally stage "away" shows either at Easter or a Bank Holiday weekend. For further information, please email nick@haveringmusicmakers.co.uk.
NON-CHARITY
PERFORMANCES: If you are not a charity
but would like us to present a show for you - either solely for entertainment
or for your own fundraising - we would still like to hear from you. (Depending
on the details of your proposal, either a joint venture or a donation to
our funds may be appropriate.) |
LATEST: Please email nick@haveringmusicmakers.co.uk to find out what shows are currently available for charity performances. |
